A brilliant re-invention of the original Adams Wilson HobbyCopter, a home made, DIY, plans built helicopter he named the Skytwister helicopter. More technical that Doug Schwochert’s AW95 Helicopter Plans.
Ben incorporated many new ideas and advanced features into the Skytwister design with a vision to making the homebuilt helicopter more robust leaning towards a real cross-country capable helicopter instead of just a field hopper.
Through much trial and error, including an in-flight sprag-clutch failure – Ben produced a beautiful little helicopter with windshield and airframe improvements including landing gear plus a sleek looking tube type tail boom.
